Q: Will the women's rest room near the new sanctuary be larger than the current rest rooms?
A: Yes, the new women's rest room will have 5 stalls rather than the current 2. It will also have a small seating area.
Q: Will the new men's and women's rest room have a handicap accessible stall?
A: Yes. The new facility will be built to current accessibility codes.
Q: Will the new building include a cry room?
A: With our current space requirements, this need is expected to be met electronically at this phase. Many spaces, such as the gathering space and others, can be tied into the service via monitors that permit people to remove themselves from the service for whatever reason and still continue to see and hear what's going on.
Q: I noticed that the building expansion project that is estimated to cost $2.7 million does not include the cafe` area or the planned enclosure of the space next to the library for a new adult classroom but they are in the master plan. I think these are really important and really enhance the new building. Does this mean that we would never include these?
A: No. Enough funds were not raised to include these in the first phase. Please make it a focus of your prayers and we'll see what God can do to get us thinking about the next phase to start immediately after the first one!
